We are very excited to announce that our upcoming BSER 2026 in-person conference will be held in Double Tree by Hilton, Hull, on 21st and 22nd September 2026.

We welcome all, including consultants, registrars, fellows, emergency clinicians and allied healthcare professionals who wish to broaden and deepen their knowledge in emergency imaging.

Prices:

Please note: you need to be a BSER member on the day of conference to quality for members rate.

If you prefer, you can transfer conference fee + membership fee together, and one confirmation will be sent to you.

Early Bird if you purchase before 30th June 2026:

£300 for consultant (non BSER member)

£250 for consultant (BSER member)

£200 for other professionals including registrars, fellows etc (non BSER member)

£150 for other professionals including registrars, fellows etc (BSER member)

£100 for medical student. This includes one year BSER membership. You must email us proof of your medical student status.

Regular price if you purchase on or after 30th June 2026:

£350 for consultant (non BSER member)

Abstracts:

The deadline for submission is 29th May 2026.

We accept QIP/Audits, Case Reports, Educational/Pictorial Reviews, Research.

Please email your submission to info@bser.org . No encore abstracts permitted. All submissions must be in English and in PDF. Maximum abstract word limit 250 (not including section titles, authors, references)

By submitting an abstract, the authors confirm that the abstract is their own original work, is not defamatory or unlawful, and does not infringe on anyone else’s rights.

By submitting an abstract, you are confirming on behalf of the co-authors that this is your own original work and that you have approval from the co-authors to submit. Should your abstract be accepted, you agree to the publication of your poster on our platforms and BSER website. You also agree to your poster and abstract being judged/shared before and on the day of the conference.

There is no limit on number of submissions per author.

If your abstract is accepted for poster presentation, the submitter or a co-author must register and attend the event in order to receive a certificate. Certificates will not be provided to co-authors who do not attend the conference.

Submitting author must specify for either the submission is for an Oral or Poster presentation.

Registration and Payment:

Please note that your place is not confirmed until we have received your conference fee. Please see above for conference prices.

Please inform us if you are no longer able to attend by emailing us. Registration fees will only be refunded, less £30.00 administration fee, for written cancellations received prior to 30th June 2026. Refunds will not be made for cancellations received after this date, but names substitutions will be allowed at any time. Please note that any refunds due will be paid after the conference has taken place.

All best endeavors will be made to present the programme as above. However, we reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables or plans relating directly or indirectly to the conference, for any cause beyond their reasonable control. The Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations. Participants are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions: the conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft of belongings. In the event that the conference is cancelled by the organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the organisers shall be limited to that refund and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss, cost or expense, howsoever caused, incurred or arising.

British Society of Emergency Radiology will use registration information for the purposes of event communication & information including but not exclusively; Registration details & payment information, programme information & updated, social functions associated directly with the event, accommodation and travel, speaker information & updates.
