Educational Lead
Open to Consultant Radiologists.
This position will predominantly involve running our regular webinar programme, finding speakers and ensuring a wide variety of topics are covered throughout the year. There is also an opportunity in this role to be involved in the FRCR exams, writing guidelines and speaking at national/international conferences (eg RCR, UKIO and ESER).
2025 Conference Lead
Open to Consultant Radiologists.
2025 will mark our next in-person conference. We are looking for an individual or group of Radiologists who would like to champion their region to host the 2025 conference. With the help of the BSER team the successful candidate/team will secure a venue and arrange the educational and social programme for the conference.
General Consultant Member
Open to Consultant Radiologists.
We are looking to expand the number of consultants of our committee to help in a variety of opportunities BSER is invited to be involved in. This will include educational events, speaking at conferences, contributing to guidelines and beyond. We are looking for enthusiastic consultants who would like to gain experience of a national society committee.
Social Medica Lead
Open to all.
This role will involve managing the Twitter/X, Instagram and Facebook accounts of BSER to promote the work we do and events that are planned. There is the opportunity to expand our social media profile with regular educational posts and expansion onto other platforms (eg LinkedIn). Applicants should have a good knowledge of social media and ensure all posts adhere to our social media policy.
Junior IT Lead
Open to all.
This role will involve working closely with our IT Lead (Dr Sai Yuet Chow) to ensure smooth running of our website, webinars, email account and conferences. Applicants should have a good foundation of IT skills, in particular be familiar with Microsoft Teams, Power Point and Google Mail. Ideally applicants should have some knowledge of website management using WIX or be willing to learn these skills.
